Board role · ~8–10 hrs/month (July/August off) | 3-4 people

Contribute your skills, ideas, and perspective to support SECA’s initiatives and decision-making. This flexible Board role is ideal for someone who wants to get involved without a highly specialized portfolio.

What you’ll do:

• Participate in Board of Directors meetings and decision-making

• Contribute to SECA initiatives based on your interests, skills, and experience

• Support or participate in committees as needed / desired

• Assist with SECA events and activities where possible

• Take on additional tasks that support the operations and governance of the organization

What we’re looking for:

• Interested in supporting the community and SECA’s work

• Collaborative and willing to contribute where needed

• Brings skills, experience, or perspectives that can support, broaden Board discussions and decision-making

• Open to learning and getting involved across different areas

Time commitment:

• ~8–10 hours per month (July/August off)

Good to know:

• This is a Board of Directors position

• Must be a SECA member in good standing

• Requires adherence to SECA’s Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy

• A great entry point to get involved at the Board level
