Our Community
Shawnee/Evergreen is growing into a vibrant, diverse neighbourhood, with recent development bringing new energy and residents.
As one of Calgary’s fastest growing communities, SECA is striving to expand its programs, volunteer base, and leadership to meet evolving needs.
Our goal is to foster a welcoming, inclusive community where residents of all ages and backgrounds feel connected and engaged.
Governance & Board
SECA is led by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members who guide the organization’s direction and long-term sustainability.
Board members are nominated at the Annual General Meeting in October with executive positions confirmed at the following board meeting. We encourage anyone interested in joining the Board to connect with us in advance to discuss these opportunities.
