Governance & Board

SECA is led by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members who guide the organization’s direction and long-term sustainability.

Board members are nominated at the Annual General Meeting and confirmed at the following board meeting. We encourage interested candidates to connect with us in advance to ensure alignment and a good fit.

Our Community

Shawnee/Evergreen is growing into a vibrant, diverse neighbourhood, with recent development bringing new energy and residents.

As one of Calgary’s growing communities, SECA continues to expand its programs, volunteer base, and leadership to meet evolving needs.

Our goal is to foster a welcoming, inclusive community where residents of all ages and backgrounds feel connected and engaged.
