SFCRA Board Representative
South Fish Creek Recreation Association (SFCRA) Representative
~8–10 hrs/month + SFCRA meetings | 1 person
Serve on the SFCRA Board as SECA’s representative. This role focuses on collaboration, information-sharing, and identifying opportunities to work together.
What you’ll do:
Represent SECA as a member of the SFCRA Board
Attend SFCRA meetings and participate in discussions and decision-making providing your expertise and experience including SECA perspectives as appropriate to meet SFCRA’s needs
Identify opportunities for collaboration, shared initiatives, and partnerships
Share updates and key insights back to SECA’s Board
Present SECA opportunities to SFCRA board as appropriate
Attend SECA Board meetings and report on SFCRA activities and lead discussions on opportunities of potential benefit to SECA
What we’re looking for:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Interested in regional collaboration and community development
Comfortable representing SECA in meetings and discussions
Able to identify opportunities and think strategically
Able to perform the duties of a director of a non-profit organization such as the SFCRA
Time commitment:
~8–10 hours per month (potentially light during July-August)
Additional time for SFCRA board meetings and related activities
Good to know:
This role attends SECA Board meetings but is not required to be a Director
Must be a SECA member in good standing
Requires adherence to SECA’s Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy
