SFCRA Board Representative

South Fish Creek Recreation Association (SFCRA) Representative
~8–10 hrs/month + SFCRA meetings | 1 person

Serve on the SFCRA Board as SECA’s representative. This role focuses on collaboration, information-sharing, and identifying opportunities to work together.

What you’ll do:

  • Represent SECA as a member of the SFCRA Board

  • Attend SFCRA meetings and participate in discussions and decision-making providing your expertise and experience including SECA perspectives as appropriate to meet SFCRA’s needs

  • Identify opportunities for collaboration, shared initiatives, and partnerships

  • Share updates and key insights back to SECA’s Board

  • Present SECA opportunities to SFCRA board as appropriate

  • Attend SECA Board meetings and report on SFCRA activities and lead discussions on opportunities of potential benefit to SECA

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Interested in regional collaboration and community development

  • Comfortable representing SECA in meetings and discussions

  • Able to identify opportunities and think strategically

  • Able to perform the duties of a director of a non-profit organization such as the SFCRA

Time commitment:

  • ~8–10 hours per month (potentially light during July-August)

  • Additional time for SFCRA board meetings and related activities

Good to know:

  • This role attends SECA Board meetings but is not required to be a Director

  • Must be a SECA member in good standing

  • Requires adherence to SECA’s Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy
