SFCRA Board Representative

South Fish Creek Recreation Association (SFCRA) Representative
~8–10 hrs/month (July/August off) + additional SFCRA meetings | 1 person

Represent SECA at a regional level and help build connections with neighbouring communities. This role focuses on collaboration, information-sharing, and identifying opportunities to work together.

What you’ll do:

• Represent SECA as a member of the SFCRA Board

• Attend SFCRA meetings and participate in discussions

• Identify opportunities for collaboration, shared initiatives, and partnerships

• Share updates and key insights back to SECA’s Board

• Attend SECA Board meetings and report on SFCRA activities

What we’re looking for:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Interested in regional collaboration and community development

• Comfortable representing SECA in meetings and discussions

• Able to identify opportunities and think strategically

Time commitment:

• ~8–10 hours per month (July/August off)

• Additional time for SFCRA meetings and related activities

Good to know:

• This role attends SECA Board meetings but is not required to be a Director

• Must be a SECA member in good standing

• Requires adherence to SECA’s Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy
